HEY I’M

Tommy Otley

I equip teams, organizations, and developing professionals seeking a more integrated approach to rehabilitation and performance.

WHO I AM + MY WHY

I am a physical therapist, sport scientist, and educator specializing in elite athlete performance restoration and integrated approaches to rehabilitation and performance.

While serving as the Lead Physical Therapist and Sport Scientist for University of Miami Basketball, I am completing a PhD, contributing to research, and developing educational offerings aimed at advancing how we understand, measure, and optimize performance in team sport after injury.

Through consulting, education, and mentorship, I provide practical strategies, actionable insights, and performance-driven solutions that move athletes beyond simply returning to sport and back to meaningful impact.

Working with Tommy was an awesome experience.

Two smiling people standing close together in an indoor sports arena, with stadium seating and electronic scoreboards in the background. One is a bald man wearing a light gray long sleeve shirt and dark pants, the other is a woman with braided hair wearing a black Nike hoodie and gray sweatpants, both holding face masks.

He not only helped me with my first knee surgery, but then a year later, he facilitated a rehab program for me while I was playing basketball overseas & didn’t have access to a PT while out of the US. His attention to detail and patient care (even while miles away) was very much appreciated!
